About the Project:
A brand new custom-designed website for Mary-Jane Morris Art / MJM Art.
The website features an online catalogue of current and past works, the process and some insights into Mary-Jane’s work and exhibitions.
Being an artist is about putting something into your subject matter that isn’t inherently there. You are not at the mercy of your subject matter, it’s the content, and what you put into it, what you do with it, what extract from it, and what you put it with, that is so exciting. If you are aware of this, then you begin to build on the content of your whole life.”

Mary-Jane has participated in several group exhibitions both in Cape Town and the Garden Route. Most recently, she was the featured artist with edg2020 Gallery. Mary-Jane also participated in the inaugural group exhibition when the edg2020 Gallery opened its doors in Midrand in February 2021. Mary-Jane’s work can be found in private collections in South Africa, Europe, Nigeria, the U.K and the U.S.A.
